The Farm to Fork Gala, to benefit Food Pantry Farm, an offshoot of the East End Community Organic Farm, will be held at Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton on Saturday, July 9 at 6 p.m. Food Pantry Farm is a nonprofit that grows organic veggies on five acres in East Hampton and gives much needed fruits and veggies to local food pantries, the Retreat women’s shelter, Eleanor Whitmore Day Care Center, senior centers, affordable housing projects like Whalebone Village and St. Michael’s, and the Montauk community garden. The farm’s EECO farm stand on Long Lane in East Hampton, near East Hampton High School and Iacono Farm, has been a Hamptons landmark for years, raising awareness of locally grown organic produce.

Food Pantry Farm has recently expanded the use of their land, and added greenhouses to extend their growing season, which allows for year-round donations to food pantries and other charity organizations that feed local residents.

Food Pantry Farm has recently expanded the use of their land, and added greenhouses to extend their growing season, which allows for year-round donations to food pantries and other charity organizations that feed local residents. They farm organically, encouraging a diverse and thriving soil ecosystem while providing a healthy environment for crops. They’ve also added a CSA pilot program with 25 families already signed up. The farm is in full swing; the EECO farm stand opened last weekend. Hours are Thursday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.

The Farm to Fork Gala will include cocktails, dinner, live auction and entertainment. The tickets can be purchased at here.
